InsideOut Dad® Guide to Family Ties [25 pack]
A self-paced guide
that helps incarcerated dads
connect with their children
and family.
(25-Pack)
Incarcerated fathers who create meaningful ties with their children and family on the outside are the best prisoners on the inside. The InsideOut Dad Guide® to Family Ties covers many topics that help incarcerated fathers learn the importance of getting in touch - and staying in touch - with their family, maybe even for the first time. It also helps incarcerated fathers create strong ties between themselves and their children, and between them and the mother(s) of their child(ren).
Program Delivery
- Self-guided, self-paced guide bound for maximum security standards.
- Can also be facilitated by staff with a dad using the Facilitator's Instruction Guide: download it here.
By connecting with their children, incarcerated fathers are motivated to maintain good behavior to keep visiting rights, which is beneficial for both the facility and correctional officers working with them. In addition, research shows that fathers who connect with their children (and families) prior to release have a higher likelihood of staying out of jail/prison.
