Product Description

Relationships & Romance Curriculum for Teens

National Fatherhood Initiative® brings you Relationships Smarts PLUS, an evidence-based relationship skills curriculum created by The Dibble Institute in which teens learn, often for the first time, how to make wise choices about relationships, dating, partners, sex, and more.

A lively 12-lesson relationship skills curriculum for teenagers 13-18 years of age, Relationships Smarts PLUS embodies an innovative approach that addresses positive youth development, life skills, healthy relationships, dating violence, and pregnancy prevention. These goals, typically addressed in separate programs, are integrated and embedded into one comprehensive healthy relationship skills program.

Relationship Smarts PLUS 3.0 reduces teen dating violence and abuse and increases youth’s assets. Students who participated in the evaluation of the Relationship Smarts PLUS program experienced significant improvements in relationship knowledge, decreases in destructive verbal and physical conflict strategies, increases in reasoning strategies, and positive changes in beliefs regarding healthy relationships. The program is listed on the National Registry of Evidence-Based Program and Practices (NREPP).
